Resident Field Technician:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Resident Field Technician to join our team at Ditch Witch West in Medford, OR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of heavy trenching and construction equipment at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment to maximize uptime and minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Interact with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide solutions.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to resolve complex equipment issues.
- Travel to customer locations to perform work, often requiring overnight stays.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to use diagnostic software.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record; CDL preferred.
- Ability to reside in the Medford, OR area.
