About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Branch Sales Associate to join our team at Grainger Businesses. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maximizing sales opportunities, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, and safely loading customer vehicles.
  • Sales and Loyalty: Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Warehouse Operations: Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders, prepare customer backorders, and put away stock received.
  • Inventory Management: Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
  • Merchandising and Showroom Replenishment: Help with merchandising and perform showroom replenishment to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked sales floor.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work any time within branch hours of operation.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
