Job Overview

CNC Machine Fabricator needed for a dynamic manufacturing team in South Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating solid-state laser materials and components for medical, defense, industrial, and scientific applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and operate CNC machines, MAAS lathes, surface grinders, centerless grinders, and polishers
  • Select and maintain tools for assigned equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance for assigned equipment
  • Utilize the Shop Floor Control System for data entry and scanning parts through applicable routing steps
Requirements
  • Associate degree or 2-year technical degree
  • Experience with HAAS (CNC or Lathe), Harig, Chevalier, Okamoto, Glebar, or DCM equipment is strongly preferred
  • Ability to follow technical work instructions, understand engineering blueprints, and verify conformance to specifications within given tolerances
  • Good visual acuity, strong basic math skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate in English, verbally and written, in a technical environment
