Your Role:

The Cell Site Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the maintenance and operational activities at cell sites. This position requires strong leadership skills to guide a team of seasoned tower technicians while also training new hires, all while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This pivotal role combines construction expertise with project management to execute high-quality projects on schedule and within budget, adhering strictly to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation, maintenance, and removal of various components related to wireless cell site foundations, including grounding conduits and electrical systems.
  • Lead and effectively communicate with all levels of management, staff, and client representatives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and maintenance checks, including seasonal equipment upkeep, repairs, and installations across different cell tower types.
  • Ensure that assigned tasks are completed accurately and efficiently within the project scope.
  • Maintain high standards of installation, troubleshooting, and repair practices.
  • Analyze site data and perform necessary calculations.
  • Diagnose basic hardware, software, and air interface issues using various testing equipment (Sweeps, PIM, Fiber, Microwave, etc.) across multiple technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with a crew and respond promptly to service requests.
Note: Specific duties may evolve based on business and client needs.

Core Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Tower Tech III or Tower Foreman is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated skills in construction (civil and RF) with a solid understanding of scope, scheduling, budgeting, quality, resource management, and deliverables.
  • Climbing Safety & Rescue Certification (renewal assistance may be available).
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings (CD's) and plumbing diagrams (RFDS).
  • Familiarity with relevant electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
  • Working knowledge of cell site service monitors, RF testing equipment, Fiber, and PIM tools.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability and a positive attitude towards changing priorities.
Work Environment:

At Pearce Services, safety is our top priority. Candidates must adhere to OSHA standards.
  • Ability to climb structures or operate lifts for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights ranging from 90' to 500+' while maintaining effective weatherproofing, grounding, and rigging techniques.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects and reaching overhead.
  • Willingness to travel within the market area for extended periods, with per diem provided based on project requirements.
Compensation: $28.00-$34.00 hourly/DOE
