We are in search of a Rental Fence Installation Supervisor who is eager to build a long-lasting career rather than just seeking a job. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $33.00 per hour, contingent upon experience. This role entails overseeing the installation, removal, and maintenance of rental fence panels. Ideal candidates will exhibit dependability, leadership, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare the installation site for fencing.
• Identify and adhere to underground utility safety protocols before commencing post installation.
• Ensure posts are aligned accurately, using visual aids or lines, and confirm their vertical positioning.
• Utilize tools such as jackhammers, core drills, or gas/air pounders to secure posts into various surfaces.
• Affix fence rail supports to posts using appropriate tools.
• Install privacy panels according to specifications.
• Set up rental fence panels on posts or stands as per client requirements, ensuring stability with sandbags or weights.
• Conduct field repairs on temporary fence panels to uphold quality standards.
• Address any broken post braces as necessary.
• Transport panels and materials to the installation site.
• Collaborate with clients to clarify site specifications and address inquiries.
• Verify that crew and subcontractors meet site specifications.
• Safely remove rental fence panels from the site and load them onto trucks for return to the branch.
• Inspect all panels for damages, label any that are damaged, and assess whether costs should be charged to the client.
• Collect client signatures to finalize work orders and document any damaged panels.
• Operate forklifts and related equipment for loading and unloading materials.
• Drive company vehicles to and from job sites, adhering to DOT regulations.
• Complete necessary administrative tasks, including gathering signatures for work performed and managing employee time sheets.
• Conduct safety inspections and complete checklists for all equipment and tools prior to use.
• Comply with company and governmental safety regulations.
Required Skills:
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with hand, air, and power tools
• Ability to lift weights up to 100 lbs.
Experience Needed:
• Minimum of 1 year in heavy construction
• At least 1 year of experience driving large commercial vehicles (non-CDL)
• Over 1 year of supervisory experience
• Previous fencing experience is preferred.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI) are required. A thorough background check and drug screening will be conducted.
