A Part-Time Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales and fostering customer relationships through exceptional service and effective selling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily store operations including product merchandising, sales, customer engagement, and store upkeep.
- Exhibit knowledge of current fashion trends to meet customer needs and maintain DTLR standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including shipments, restocking, and pricing.
- Create a positive and energetic atmosphere for customers while demonstrating enthusiasm for the role and the company.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in service training and product knowledge programs.
- Ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and maintain organized store displays.
- Support efforts to minimize theft and maintain a secure environment.
- Contribute to a clean and orderly sales floor as directed by management.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must effectively perform all essential duties. The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:
Successful candidates will possess:

  • Strong command of the English language for effective communication with management, customers, and colleagues.
  • Basic knowledge of fashion and style trends, with a passion for working with customers in a retail environment.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and strong interpersonal abilities to deliver excellent customer service and maintain inventory accuracy.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work flexible hours during peak periods and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
