Hedis Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
Elevance Health is seeking a highly skilled Hedis Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Department, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and executing HEDIS Quality Department specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead annual HEDIS medical record collection and abstraction process
• Synthesize aggregate plan and product level data medical record data
• Establish baseline and measure change, data gathering, presentation, and interpretation for optimal HEDIS data/results
• Prepare and maintain project plans and schedules inclusive of tasks, timelines, resources, milestones, dependencies, and assumptions
• Lead teams regarding workflow process improvement, document management, and abstraction education
• Train and lead onsite temporary staff
• Evaluate and monitor performance and efficiency of programs to ensure implementation meets targeted timelines
• Collaborate with multiple departments and external vendors to annually field a new HEDIS pursuit application
Requirements:
• AA/AS in healthcare field and minimum of 2 years experience with HEDIS activity coordination or working with Managed/Acute/Provider Care environment, including 2 years of analytical experience
• Strong HEDIS knowledge is a must
• Experience with Medical records (EMRs) is strongly preferred
• Experience interpreting medical terminology is preferred
• Exposure to deadline-driven environments is preferred
• Team Lead or management experience is preferred

Work Environment:
Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
