About the Role

This position will be based in either Hazel Park, MI or Warren, MI. As an Assembly Operator at BorgWarner, you will play a critical role in the production of High Voltage Battery systems for commercial vehicle applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check the equipment for proper functioning and report any deviations or quality defects.
  • Monitor the operation of the production equipment and ensure compliance with production parameters.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, work area, and facility based on 5s standards.
  • Frequently lift up to 30 lbs and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, or twisting.
  • Prolonged standing or walking.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  • Interest in electrical engineering processes.
  • General experience in production processes.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Ability to work on a team and independently, accurately, and precisely.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
