Job Summary

The Patient Service Technician is a critical role in our organization, responsible for delivering and picking up medical equipment from homecare patients. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and pick up medical equipment from homecare patients, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Set up equipment and instruct patients on basic use, addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Schedule and organize daily deliveries and pickups according to geographic territory, loading and unloading equipment as needed.
  • Comply with all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records and adhering to hours of service, daily log, and vehicle inspection regulations.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms, and vehicle maintenance logs.
  • Notify supervisor of any safety concerns or issues discovered during patient visits.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; at least one year of related work experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
  • Minimum of three years driving history required.
  • Business acumen, problem-solving, and communication skills essential.
Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel, including riding in company vehicles and accompanying employees on deliveries. The employee may be exposed to moderate noise levels, dust, and chemicals. Personal protective equipment will be provided as necessary.
