The Role

We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing aircraft to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance on company-owned and managed aircraft, adhering to the Director of Maintenance's schedule and guidelines.
  • Source and procure parts, considering factors such as price, availability, and aircraft downtime.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Safety and Director of Maintenance to implement process improvements and maintain industry-leading safety standards.
  • Monitor maintenance status reports, develop work packages, and ensure aircraft are returned to service in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and company procedures.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are completed prior to flight, and manage equipment and parts inventory to maintain aircraft readiness.
  • Conduct routine inspections, document findings, and perform scheduled maintenance and repairs.
  • Comply with all FAA regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a corporate aviation A&P Mechanic.
  • Part 91/135 knowledge and certification.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Technical capability, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Results-driven, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to travel on short notice, with approximately 25% of travel required.
  • Ability to work a schedule of 4 10-hour shifts, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Special Requirements
  • Current A&P FAA License.
  • Valid Driver's License, with no restricted licenses.
  • Pass FAA Drug and Alcohol testing, background checks, and random drug testing as required.
Work Environment

The work environment for this role will involve exposure to fumes, dust, and loud noise, as well as outdoor weather conditions.
