Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis, and results reporting
- Establish and maintain positive identification of specimens, determine suitability of specimen, and acquire/prepare reagents as needed
- Perform instrument maintenance and calibration, and exercise sound, independent judgment and demonstrate critical thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Sciences
- Certification or registry eligible for Medical Technologist, MLS (ASCP), or MT (ASCP), or AMT
- SM (ASCP), RM (NRM) for Microbiology only
- Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible (if duties will include phlebotomy)
- SC, SM (ASCP), MS in Clinical Chemistry or molecular diagnostics experience preferred for Immunology only
