Nursing Specialist for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized healthcare services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse with Sevita, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our clients. Your primary goal will be to help them achieve their full potential and live fulfilling lives.
About the Role- Conduct thorough assessments and implement individualized health care plans to meet the unique needs of each client
- Communicate effectively with medical professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Provide technical assistance, medical oversight, and training to staff members to enhance the quality of care
- Collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers to develop and implement person-centered service plans
- Monitor and ensure that physician orders are accurately documented and executed
- Travel between multiple locations to provide support and maintain a presence in the community

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Requirements- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Current state RN license and CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
- Excellent assessment skills, critical thinking, and effective communication abilities
