Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Care Partner, you will:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and participation in enrichment activities.
  • Engage in the recruitment and training of new hires, ensuring they are paired with experienced staff for their initial training period.
  • Support the neighborhood director in managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Provide ongoing support and problem-solving assistance to the care management team during shifts.
  • Ensure that care managers respond promptly to residents' requests and deliver care with compassion and competence.
  • Oversee housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for residents.
  • Ensure accurate documentation by care managers at the end of each shift and facilitate effective communication during shift changes.
  • Assist in maintaining dietary standards and ensure timely meal service for residents.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized service plans for residents.
  • Provide feedback to the neighborhood director regarding staff performance and operational needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and stay informed about emergency procedures.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to lead effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to present information clearly and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures related to senior care.
  • Capability to perform basic calculations and remain calm in challenging situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Nurse Aide Certification or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant, with a focus on geriatric care.

Mental and Physical Requirements:

This role requires:

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with individuals of all ages.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving residents and equipment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
