Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Raven Ridge. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing various mechanical systems, components, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet project requirements and quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the best materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies for each project.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
  • Create detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for manufacturing and production purposes.
  • Oversee prototype development and testing, making necessary adjustments to improve performance and functionality.
  • Perform quality control checks, inspections, and tests to verify the integrity and reliability of mechanical components and systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept to production.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated product development experience.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Experience with FEA and other simulation software is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment.
Compensation:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
