At ManTech International Corporation, we're committed to protecting our nation's security while fostering a culture of innovation and growth. As a Program Security Officer 2, you'll play a critical role in supporting our customer's mission by providing unparalleled security support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Directorates and Offices to address security issues across various disciplines, including program, physical, personnel, operational, technical, information, industrial, and information system security.
  • Assist defense contractors in all industrial security disciplines, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Perform Classification Reviews to ensure accurate classification of sensitive information.
  • Review and prepare DD 254s, SOPs, and Waivers to maintain compliance with security protocols.
  • Coordinate Co-Use Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding to facilitate collaboration between government agencies and industry partners.
  • Provide assistance to defense contractors on personnel security-related issues, including briefings, debriefs, and review of program-related information for proper markings.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and 8+ years of relevant experience or Associates and 6+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience or Master's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Program and Personnel Security, including Intelligence Community Directives and NRO Directives and Instructions.
  • Working knowledge of NRO and/or IC security policies and procedures, tools, databases, and ability to implement Government security requirements for Government and Industry facilities accreditation and information systems certification and accreditation.
  • Working knowledge of Security Tools, Databases, and Processes, including ICD 503 and 705, NISPOM, and performing Company PSO oversight.
  • Experience working with industrial security staffs, developing and implementing security tasks, and handling security classification issues.
  • Ability to work complex or sensitive security issues with discretion and prioritize competing requirements and tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, establish effective working relationships with government agencies and mission partners, and analyze complex information.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing requirements and tasks, manage long-term tasks, and communicate effectively with government personnel.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Security Requirements: Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position 50% of the time and communicate effectively with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
