As a key member of our team, the Multimedia Support Specialist will be responsible for the effective management and operation of all audio-visual (AV) resources within our organization. This role is essential in ensuring seamless technical support for various events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate and maintain audio-visual equipment for events, ensuring high-quality presentations and broadcasts.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to address all AV technical support requests, acting as the primary contact for assigned events.
3. Conduct rehearsals and technical run-throughs to ensure all AV elements function smoothly.
4. Oversee the logistics of event broadcasts and manage the setup and breakdown of AV equipment.
5. Monitor compliance with security protocols and maintain equipment in accordance with company policies.
6. Perform regular assessments of AV equipment to inform budgeting and forecasting needs.
7. Manage communication regarding room bookings and coordinate with various departments to optimize meeting space utilization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in project management or coordination.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with technical and audiovisual equipment, including platforms like Zoom and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
