We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Albany, New York. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with project teams to identify business needs and develop solutions to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders using industry-standard methods.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions and analyze requirements to identify system requirements.
- Prepare proposals for best-fit technology solutions based on elicited requirements.
- Review and document system As-Is state and propose the To-Be state.
- Create requirements documentation, including use cases, screen prototypes, and specifications.
- Analyze legacy systems' functionality and develop justifications for system or business process requirements.
- Evaluate vendor deliverables and provide feedback throughout the project life cycle.
- 6-8 years of experience working on complex projects as a Business Analyst.
- Client-focused business and requirements analysis experience and documentation.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business, or Public Administration.
- Familiarity with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
- Ability to apply industry best practices and state/federal mandates to system requirements.
- Experience identifying project risks/issues and proposing solutions.
This is a remote role with 50% on-site work in Albany, NY. The starting pay range is $79,920 to $120,000, and the position may be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
