About the Role

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campus Security Associate to join our team at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all associates and visitors, protecting company assets, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our Global Home Office community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directing visitors and controlling access at all entry points
  • Monitoring morning traffic while on cross-walk duty
  • Writing incident/accident reports on issues that occur on the campus
  • Monitoring CCTV, security, and fire suppression systems
  • Patrolling and securing areas inside and outside the facilities
  • Administering first aid
  • Assessing and restricting inbound/outbound truck access at each of the Distribution Centers
  • Reporting and addressing safety concerns
  • Effectively supporting the DC-Security team on an as-needed basis
  • Effectively supporting the front desk, sample sale, and on-campus events on an as-needed basis
Requirements
  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Professional maturity and comfort when interacting with varying levels of leadership
  • Previous work experience or education in a Security-related field a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skillset; driven by professional interactions
  • Attention to detail and follow-through on issues in a timely/urgent manner
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong public relations skills
  • Ability to work independently; high degree of organization
  • Must be able to quickly respond, on foot, to locations throughout the facilities
  • Must be able to view information on a computer monitor and CCTV screen
  • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license
  • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills
