About the Role

Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Campus Safety and Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our safety and security department, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol campus grounds and buildings to prevent and respond to security incidents
  • Provide emergency response and first aid as needed
  • Investigate and document security incidents
  • Develop and maintain relationships with campus community members to promote a culture of safety and security
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to campus safety and security
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least one year of experience in security or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
