- Interview insureds, claimants, and witnesses to gather information
- Consult police and hospital records to verify claim details
- Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage to determine liability
- Inspect property and auto damages and write repair estimates
- Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
- Utilize claims-handling software, company car, and mobile applications to adjust losses in a paperless environment
- Provide exceptional and professional customer service
Requirements for Success
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A valid driver's license
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $76,000 annually, based on education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
