As a member of the First Baptist Preschool staff, you play a crucial role in this ministry, positively impacting the lives of children and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to impart Biblical teachings and academic content through engaging play and hands-on activities, fostering the holistic development of children.
Key Responsibilities
- Biblical Instruction: You will help children and families understand the love of God through Biblical knowledge and the school’s mission.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain punctuality, professional appearance, and effective communication while adhering to the school's ethical standards.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe environment through proper hygiene practices, supervision, and maintenance.
- Building Relationships: Foster strong connections with families through open communication and teamwork.
- Educational Development: Create lesson plans and a conducive classroom environment that encourages exploration and positive guidance.
Qualifications
All staff members must affirm the Southern Baptist Faith and Message 2000, ensuring alignment with the beliefs upheld by the Southern Baptist Convention. A high school diploma is required, with encouragement to pursue a CDA credential. Documentation of training and official transcripts are mandatory for all staff members.
Staff must complete a minimum of 16 hours of professional development in early childhood education annually and provide proof of health clearance from a licensed medical professional.
Background checks and fingerprinting are required for all staff members.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Christian preschool setting is advantageous.
