We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist to join our team at Bloomfield Center in Bloomfield, NM. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control strategies to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

  • Develop and implement infection prevention and control programs to prevent the spread of infections and communicable diseases
  • Conduct surveillance and monitoring of infection control activities to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control best practices
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to infection control
  • Monitor and report on infection control metrics and outcomes

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
  • Specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire
  • Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts
