Infection Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist to join our team at Bloomfield Center in Bloomfield, NM. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control strategies to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement education programs to promote infection prevention and control practices among staff.
- Conduct surveillance and monitoring of infection control activities to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement policies and procedures for infection prevention and control.
- Provide training and support to staff on infection prevention and control best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.
- Competitive hourly rate of $45-$49.
