Position Overview:

Our Member Advisors play a crucial role in assisting members with their financial transactions, which include processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. They are responsible for balancing cash drawers and settling daily activities. They welcome members and provide essential information regarding credit union products and services, directing them to the appropriate departments for specific inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

· Member Advisors process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. They ensure the accuracy of cash drawers and manage daily settlements. They greet members and offer routine information about credit union products and services, guiding them to the right department for detailed assistance.

· Address inquiries about products and services, escalating issues beyond their authority to the Branch Manager. Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote services to members during in-person transactions, as well as through telephone and outbound calls.

Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of six months in customer service and cash handling is required.

At least six months of sales/referral experience, including offering related products and service options to customers, is necessary.

Education: High school diploma required; some college education preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential for this role. The position involves personal contact with others inside and outside the organization, generally concerning routine matters that may require some discussion.
