Key Responsibilities- Data Entry and Order Management: Accurately enter and manage customer orders, ensuring all material and freight costs match exactly to the customer's purchase order.
- Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information on order status, product availability, pricing, and other related matters.
- Returned Goods and Credit Requests: Process returned goods authorizations and credit requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Payment Processing: Process credit card payments and ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with customers, management, and outside sales representatives to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of experience in customer service, data entry, or order taking in the construction, commercial, or manufacturing industries.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong order entry skills, ability to use Windows Office programs, keyboarding skills of 35 wpm, and professional phone manners.
