Position Overview
Our Respiratory Therapy department is looking for a qualified individual to deliver respiratory care services to patients experiencing cardiopulmonary challenges, adhering to the medical center's established standards of care. The range of patient services provided includes all age groups, with a significant focus on the geriatric population. Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapy in both clinical and community environments, fostering positive communication across departments, and enhancing professional competencies.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an A.M.A. accredited program; advanced training in therapies for all age groups is preferred.
  • Current registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care, or the ability to obtain this within six months of employment.
  • A valid license as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current NRP certification within three months of employment; ACLS certification is preferred.
