About the Role: As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing assessments, debridements, wound dressings, and hyperbaric oxygen treatments. You will also be involved in the treatment of adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment: Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including wound evaluations and debridements, and provide treatment plans to promote wound healing.
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy: Administer hyperbaric oxygen treatments to patients, as prescribed by physicians.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, promoting self-care and independence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent.
- License: Current Nurse Practitioner license and DEA license.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a procedural environment, such as urgent care or wound care specialist medical office.
- Skills: Strong assessment and treatment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits: Korzen Health offers a competitive salary range of $55-$65 per hour, with a guaranteed 8-hour workday. This position is 13 days per week, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
