Job Summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver engineering projects, including design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to prevent or minimize their impact.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on engineering projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of business operations and processes.
