24 Seven Talent is on the lookout for a seasoned Executive Creative Director to step into the role of VP of Creative at our headquarters. This pivotal position will see you as a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and collaborating closely with the President & CEO.

As the VP of Creative, you will oversee the internal creative division, steering art direction, content creation, copywriting, storytelling, video production, web design, performance-driven creative, and brand identity. You are a proactive creative leader who thrives on conceptualizing and executing high-impact direct-to-consumer experiences and campaigns. Your unique strengths lie in your outstanding writing abilities paired with a sharp visual creativity, or vice versa. With a solid foundation in eCommerce, you will creatively guide the organization in areas such as brand strategy, product marketing, growth initiatives, lifecycle management, and technical content development. This role offers you the opportunity to shape the company’s voice through engaging copy and design, including leading the launch of the website and naming future product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and mentor a diverse creative team, including creative directors, designers, video producers, copywriters, and content creators.
  • Own the strategy and vision for the direct-to-consumer website experience, focusing on UX design, site architecture, and optimizing conversion rates throughout the eCommerce funnel.
  • Oversee the creation of advertising content across all performance marketing channels, including social media platforms, utilizing both internal resources and external partnerships.
  • Collaborate with creative directors to conceptualize and execute comprehensive global marketing campaigns supported by significant media investments.
  • Ensure that our owned CRM channels effectively communicate product experiences while promoting the brand to both new and existing customers.
  • Develop and uphold brand identity and guidelines, ensuring cohesive design direction across all marketing platforms, website content, application content, and product packaging.
  • Launch a new brand architecture strategy for both the parent brand and its sub-brands.
  • Lead content strategy and the production of original video content for platforms like YouTube and our official blog.
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies by guiding brand creative direction for upcoming products, including naming conventions.
  • Partner with leaders across various departments to prioritize creative support for company-wide initiatives.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and relationships with external agencies.
  • Provide direct influence on creative copy and design for high-impact projects.
  • Act as a passionate leader who showcases the best creative work from your team while making decisions based on business impact.
  • Create compelling narratives that engage millions of unique visitors monthly, fostering a personal connection.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in creative leadership roles, ideally within in-house teams or D2C creative agencies.
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer marketing for brands that sell directly to consumers.
  • Proven track record in executing creative strategies for DTC eCommerce websites and acquisition marketing channels.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering innovative and commercially viable campaigns across various platforms.
  • A strong portfolio that highlights significant brand work and strategic creative thinking.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring diverse creative teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating creative concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for pets and a genuine understanding of the needs and preferences of pet owners.
