Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Finatal is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join our team in Michigan. As a key member of our executive management team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end financial function, including strategic finance, treasury, accounting, FP&A, tax, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of accountability and build out a unique finance and accounting organizational design to match the growth and needs of the business.
  • Build and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), board packs, and management information to report regularly to the board and investors.
  • Partner with the CEO to shape the strategic direction of the company and identify and execute investments (both organic and M&A).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience as a successful CFO in a private equity portfolio company, ideally within a company receiving first institutional capital.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to appreciate commercial strategies, operational processes, technology, and leadership.
  • Team player who uses data to drive continuous performance improvement and is a respected and trusted partner to senior management.
  • Experience executing best-in-class process improvement disciplines to optimize business results.
