We are currently looking for a Credit Underwriter I/II to join our Healthcare, Education, and Not-for-Profit Group (HENFP). This group is an integral part of our Global Commercial Banking division, focusing on the financial needs of various 501(c) not-for-profit clients, including healthcare providers, educational institutions, and traditional non-profit organizations.

This role involves conducting risk assessments and analyzing repayment capacities, including financial, borrower, and industry evaluations, while preparing justifications for moderately complex to complex transactions with minimal oversight.


Key Responsibilities:
- Assess creditworthiness and provide analytical insights to determine client eligibility for credit facilities.
- Collaborate with Credit Officers, Relationship Managers, and Risk teams to develop tailored credit solutions.
- Monitor clients' operational performance and financial health, proactively identifying potential issues and opportunities.
- Deliver comprehensive financial modeling, loan structuring, and industry analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial accounting and modeling.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration across various levels.
- Experience in financial analysis and portfolio oversight.

Desired Skills:
- A BS/BA degree with 2-3 years of credit analysis experience is preferred.
