Position Overview:
As a vital member of Northrop Grumman, the Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst will engage in the development and management of comprehensive project timelines that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate, design, and synchronize the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to fulfill all project requirements.
2. Ensure seamless integration of program schedules across various dimensions.
3. Apply industry-standard scheduling methodologies, including but not limited to:
- DCMA 14-point assessment
- IPMR DI-MGMT-81861 compliance
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) practices
- Critical Path Analysis
- Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
- Schedule Performance Metrics and Analysis
4. Generate and disseminate weekly and monthly status reports.
5. Monitor and track project plans and timelines.
6. Create, maintain, and validate scheduling data.
7. Conduct risk assessments and manage potential issues.
8. Identify and resolve conflicts in critical path and network logic.

Utilization of Tools:
Leverage Gantt charts, milestone charts, Earned Value Management (EVM), and other project management techniques to evaluate progress and detect performance discrepancies.

Work Schedule:
This position operates on a 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees to enjoy every other Friday off by working nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday.

Basic Qualifications:
This position may be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4.

Level 3 Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in program/project planning and scheduling, logistics, or supply chain management; or a Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.

Level 4 Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in program/project planning and scheduling, logistics, or supply chain management; or a Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.

Additional Qualifications for Both Levels:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with scheduling software (e.g., MS Project 2016, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone Professional, Deltek, and SSI Tools).
- Active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI; US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret / SCI security clearance; US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
- Proficiency in MS Project 2016.
- Experience with resource loading schedules.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Schedule Management.
- Familiarity with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).
