We are seeking an experienced Automotive Operations Manager to join our team at Big O Tires - Boise (State Street). As an Automotive Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing the overall daily operations of the retail store in accordance with identified company goals to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations, and maximize profit.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Open and close store(s), assist the Store Manager with any duties they may assign, and ensure the store is maintained in a neat, clean, and attractive appearance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to prevent shrinkage, order and receive supplies as needed, and ensure compliance with OSHA and Federal and State Environmental Regulations.
- Customer Service: Resolve/handle customer complaints within the established guidelines and provide excellent customer service.
- Point of Sale Operations: Operate point of sale hardware and software and look up information for various applications.
- Work Order Preparation: Prepare and inspect work orders, VIP Checklist, and Vehicle Inspection Form (Health Check) for completeness.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalency certificate is preferred.
- Experience: Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Language Skills: Can speak, read, and write English. Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Computer Skills: Good computer skills and ability to use the company hardware and software.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
