Phlebotomist/Mental Health Technician

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist/Mental Health Technician to join our team at Northern California Behavioral Health System. As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will provide direct patient care to individuals with emotional or psychiatric disorders, supporting the therapeutic milieu and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities include collecting blood samples, practicing proper patient and specimen identification, and deciphering the best method for drawing blood depending on the patient's specific needs. You will also participate in treatment planning, provide input during shift report and discharge planning, and maintain communication with patients, family members, and referral sources.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Phlebotomy class, and current Certification in Phlebotomy. Additionally, you must maintain approved CPR certification and complete Management of Assaultive Behavior training.
