Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our dynamic team at Summit Funding, Inc. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and success by providing expert guidance on employee relations, benefits administration, training, performance management, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with management to align business objectives with employee needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement reports to analyze employee-related factors and improve business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to provide support and consultation on compensation, employee relations, leaves of absence, health and safety, benefits, and other HR matters.
  • Investigate and escalate complex issues to ensure consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.
  • Provide ongoing support and consultation on healthcare, new benefit options, industry trends, claims, policy changes, and billing.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve department efficiency and services.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Three to five years of current or recent HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience.
  • PHR-CA or SHRM-CP certification highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (ATS, HRIS, etc.).
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday standard business hours and report to the Sacramento Corporate office a minimum of two days a week.
