Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary:
Pacific ExecSearch is recruiting a Human Resources Generalist with strong administrative skills for a non-profit organization in Sacramento. This position is 100% onsite, direct hire, and a great opportunity to join a mission-driven team dedicated to helping the local community. The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR and administrative support, including recruitment, benefits administration, compliance, and various other tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the full cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolutions as needed.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Assist employees with payroll and benefits-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and other applicable laws.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Communicate and enforce HR policies consistently.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative human resources position.
  • PHR certification a plus.
  • ADP system experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, task-oriented, and good with numbers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to assist with recruitment tasks.
