Job Summary:

As the Director of Imaging Services, you will be responsible for the overall management of assigned department, including quality, patient satisfaction, people management, annual business planning, and operational efficiencies. You will ensure that all Radiology Services operations are functional and provide patient care in the most appropriate, efficient, and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate imaging services activities to ensure quality and cost objectives are met.

• Improve quality by ensuring that Imaging delivers the right test to the right patient at the right time.

• Develop and implement strategic plans for all aspects of imaging operations, including budgets and process improvement activities.

• Meet market goals by achieving budgeted volume targets.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and governmental regulations and laws.

• Hire, orient, evaluate, and reward/discipline leadership for the Imaging department.

• Maintain high staff engagement.

• Develop and train department personnel and review their performance in partnership with department leaders.

• Establish a department organization plan and delegate responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities to appropriate subordinates.

Financial Management:

• Develop annual capital and operational budgets and monitor them.

• Develop action plans for adjusting expenditures to stay within budget.

• Create and evaluate new procedures and equipment for potential use in imaging services and recommend new procedures and equipment where necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.

• Five years of prior work experience.

• Five years of management experience.

• Master's degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred.
