The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) is seeking a highly skilled Directorate Support Manager to join its Highways Team. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Highways Team, ensuring effective project delivery and team performance.

  • Provide administrative support to the Deputy Director, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the industry to achieve business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of the team's approach for the third road period, starting in 2025.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, team leadership, and administrative support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
