Director of IT Job Description

ITAC Solutions is seeking a seasoned IT leader to drive strategic IT development and service management across multiple business units. As a Director of IT, you will be responsible for providing oversight of business applications, implementing a new ERP software platform, and guiding the organization through a full implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT strategy and roadmap to enhance business units
  • Provide oversight of business applications and implement a new ERP software platform
  • Oversee IT Operations, including end-user support, server and network infrastructure, and cybersecurity
  • Participate in the design, troubleshooting, and maintenance of system architecture
  • Manage service management processes, including incident coordination and post-incident reviews
  • Collaborate on Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) discussions and exercises
  • Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software to support enterprise system infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • 6+ years of strong leadership experience with indirect management responsibility
  • 5+ years of using technology within a manufacturing environment
  • 4+ years of experience handling multiple business units within the company
  • Ability to support 24/7 operations
  • Experience with various technical business applications and Project Management
  • Hands-on experience leading ERP implementations with the ability to customize ERP software applications
  • Proficiency in coordinating with IT teams to ensure effective support and infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments and with external stakeholders
