Job Summary:

Fresquez Companies Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team at Village Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our guests
Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure efficient operations
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
Collaborate with our management team to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Chef in a full-service restaurant
2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
Associate degree in Culinary Arts or comparable experience
SERV Safe certification
Strong business acumen and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
