About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Genoa Healthcare, a leading pharmacy care services company. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the dispensing of medical prescriptions and performing various clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicates with solid professional verbal and written communication skills

Requirements
  • Active and Unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Wisconsin OR the ability to obtain licensure by start date
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computer skills such as typing
  • Access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 1+ years of data entry experience
  • 1+ years of pharmacy experience
