About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Optum. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our mental health pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and verifies them under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
  • Orders, receives, and stores pharmacy supplies
  • Processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and maintains inventory records
  • Assists the pharmacist in maintaining compliance with federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties
  • Communicates effectively with strong verbal and written skills
