We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support our team at Optum. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and clinic staff
  • Fill prescription orders and verify them under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
  • Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacist to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Perform various clerical duties and communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills
  • Occasionally deliver medication to facilities, using your own vehicle and reimbursed for mileage

Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Tennessee
  • At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
