We are seeking a skilled GI Technician-Endoscopy to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the procedure room, facilitating the availability of equipment, and providing safe and therapeutic care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare procedure rooms in an organized and timely manner, ensuring supplies and equipment are available.
  • Perform cleaning duties necessary for the orderly functioning of the procedure rooms and unit.
  • Adhere to strict scope reprocessing standards and regulatory safety standards.
  • Accurately report changes in patient condition and pertinent patient information to the registered nurse.
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing policies and procedures, patient care guidelines, and endoscopy skill set.
  • Transport patients in a safe and efficient manner throughout the facility.
Requirements:
  • High School or GED
  • Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • SGNA Associates Program
  • SGNA Advanced Associates Program
  • 1-2 years Nursing Assistant or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • One of the following certifications within 6 months: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER), or Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER)

The salary range for this role is $55,317.59 - $58,913.15 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
