Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping our radiologists interpret these images to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of specific body areas.
Prepare and position patients properly for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Enter exam coding and other relevant information into our Radiology Information System in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and departmental standards.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Technical Diploma in Radiology or a related field, as well as a New York State Radiologic Technologist License or Temp Permit. Advanced Certification in MRI from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is also required within 180 days of hire. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
