Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple functions of building operations and maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, environmental, and safety systems.
  • Develop and maintain positive client and vendor relationships, ensuring excellent service levels within budget.
  • Conduct client meetings to resolve facility issues and communicate results.
  • Manage and coach staff along with service providers to deliver exceptional service levels.
  • Research and implement new processes and technology, providing formal presentations to clients.
  • Understand management of capital projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience, demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building operations and maintenance systems, including janitorial services, mechanical, physical security, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape, and energy management.
  • Previous experience managing projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Strong understanding of managing contract and vendor services, ensuring excellent service levels within budget.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen, with a strong P&L understanding.
  • Exceptional customer service, relationship building, and communication skills, ensuring excellent client satisfaction.
  • Strong Leadership skills, with a focus on staff development and team building.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience.
