Job Summary:
As a Member Service Representative at the YMCA of Superior CA, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our members, guests, and program participants. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment, ensuring that every individual feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service, responding to member and guest needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interview and tour prospective members, promoting memberships and programs that align with their interests and goals.
  • Build meaningful relationships with members, fostering a sense of community and connection within the YMCA.
  • Address and resolve membership concerns, escalating unusual situations or unresolved issues to your supervisor.
  • Apply YMCA policies related to member services, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for all.
  • Manage retail item sales and towel service operations, maintaining a clean and organized facility.
  • Regularly inspect the facility, addressing minor cleaning needs and reporting any necessary repairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid required within 30 days of hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Previous customer service, sales, or related experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
