We are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Risk Manager to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. With over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, including account management, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' risk management needs are met.

About the Role

This is a hybrid schedule position, requiring a presence in-office on agreed-upon days. As an Insurance Risk Manager, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of client exposure and insurance coverage, ensuring all quotes, proposals, and contracts comply with requirements and meet insurance objectives.

  • Negotiate property and casualty insurance terms and conditions with underwriters to secure favorable agreements for clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, ensuring smooth operations and collaboration within the branch.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives and team members to gather necessary information, prepare marketing submissions, and arrange underwriting meetings.
  • Facilitate ordering of loss-control and claim reports while coordinating associated processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Arrange necessary fee agreements and manage documentation, including preparing and delivering binders, vehicle identification cards, and written correspondence.
  • Draft and deliver detailed reports, correspondence, and analyses to support client objectives and internal team needs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of carriers and industry-standard coverage forms, as well as negotiation, problem-solving, and project management abilities to address complex client needs effectively. A strong communicator across all levels and mediums, you will also be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experienced with agency management systems.

What We Offer

Alera Group offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, and more.
