About the Role

Hargrove Engineers and Constructors is seeking a skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for acquiring goods and services in support of various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and manage materials once delivered to site
  • Ensure materials are properly kitted and staged
  • Issue materials to the appropriate resource
  • Develop procurement plans for the acquisition of goods and services
  • Interpret project scopes, statements of work, and project schedules
  • Mentor less experienced procurement teammates
  • Develop strategic sourcing agreements and subcontracts
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor or Master of Science degree in a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in procurement
  • Familiarity with department standards and electrical knowledge for supply purposes
  • Knowledge of company standards, contract language, and commercial terms and conditions
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in the use of SAP, Ariba, or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
