Collaborate and consult with interdisciplinary team members and families to ensure skills taught in therapy are generalized effectively
Conduct discharge planning as necessary
Assess the effectiveness and outcomes of treatment and response to therapeutic interventions.
Prepare and submit all necessary case documentation, including evaluation data, treatment plans, clinical notes, and billing information in accordance with company policy.
Engage with clients individually and in group settings to provide therapyDocument and maintain confidential client case notes and reports
Keep an attendance register aligned with the Service Page of the IEP and the Individual Service Agreement (ISA) for each student
Enter service data into the company database and verify service logs monthly
Modify educational materials and equipment to provide tailored interventions for individual student needs
Collect data on student progress to document activities, prepare reports, and update IEP logs
Provide individualized instruction in collaboration with appropriate supervisors (e.g., phonetic alphabet, vocabulary, fluency, oral motor exercises) to achieve goals for addressing speech and language deficits
Maintain and prepare a variety of manual and electronic materials (e.g., charts, logs, records, and reports) for documentation purposes, ensuring accurate information is conveyed; Familiarity with high and low-tech augmentative communication devices and software such as Boardmaker Online is essential.
Performance Metrics:
Compliance with company policies and procedures
Professional development and training
Current, active California license as a Speech Pathologist (SLP, SLPL, SLP-CCC) or eligibility for licensure
A minimum of one year of experience in speech therapy
Proficient in standard company software applications and internet usage
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including business writing and professional telephone etiquette
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
